Some of the best medicine doesn't come in a bottle — it comes from the earth, the season, and your own two hands. This simple snack is designed to cool, hydrate, and support your skin from the inside out — especially on those days when the sun feels more intense than inviting.

The Recipe

You'll Need:

  • 1 cup watermelon or cantaloupe, cubed

  • 1 small cucmber, thinly sliced

  • juice of 1/2 lime

  • handful of fresh mint or basil

  • pinch of sea salt

  • optional: drizzle of raw honey or spinkle of chili flakes

To Prepare:

Toss everything in a bowl and serve chilled.

The Best Part

This recipe takes 5 minutes to prepare and tastes even better when eaten outside, barefoot, with the ground beneath you doing its own quiet work of cooling and grounding.
